Mr. Ryan Ballantyne
Ryan Ballantyne is originally from Bettendorf, IA. He has a B.A. in Music Education (K-12) from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA.
He has done substitute teaching for the Cedar Rapids School Districts and surrounding districts since 2010. He also teaches classroom music at Saint Patrick School (PK-6) in Anamosa and directs a church choir at Christ Church Presbyterian in Cedar Rapids.
Mr. Ballantyne lives in Hiawatha with his wife April (no children yet). His main instrument is trumpet, along with some basic piano skills. He is hoping to one day learn guitar. In his spare time, Mr. B enjoys cooking, gardening, and You-Tube surfing.
Mr. B has an undeniable weakness for dark chocolate, especially if it has the Fair Trade label.
