After School Program, KFJ

Central Lutheran School offers child care school days from 3:30-6:00 pm through a program called Kids for Jesus (KFJ).

Any CLS preschooler through 6th grader is eligible to attend.  On early dismissal days, KFJ begins immediately after dismissal.

Students may attend KFJ regularly or as a drop in.  Parents may call the school during the school day and instruct personnel to send students to KFJ after school.

Students who attend KFJ are given a light snack and encouraged to complete their homework before they may have free play.  When weather permits, children may play outside.  During inclement weather, children may play in the gym.

Jean Duffy, supervisor, provides daily supervision of the children who attend KFJ.

KFJ is held in the Student Center.  All exterior doors are locked during and after school hours.  Parents who arrive after hours to pick up their children will be given access to the building via a remote door lock system with video surveillance.  Every student must be signed out before leaving the premises.

For any questions that you may have about the Central Lutheran School after school program, please feel free to contact Jessica Fry by emailing her jfry@centrallutheranschool.org.
