My name is Ally Getka. I teach 6th grade homeroom, 5-8th grade math, co-Athletic Director with Mrs. Schanbacher, and technology committee with Kristin Meyer. I am also on the youth board at St. Stephens.
I grew up on a farm in Darien, Wisconsin and I attended Concordia University Wisconsin where I received my degree in Education. This is my 10th year teaching here at Central! I love the family I’ve made here at Central! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy going to sporting events, playing board games/card games, doing woodworking with my dad, and hanging out with my friends and family!
My favorite Bible verse (which is also my confirmation verse) is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, “Love is patient and kind, it does not envy or boast… Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”
