Hi, I’m Dave Runge!

Hi, I’m Dave Runge, seventh grade homeroom teacher and upper grades Social Studies at CLS.  It has been a blessing to see the many changes God has brought to Central since the summer of 2000, when my family moved here from southwest Missouri. 

My wife, Jody, and I both grew up in Iowa, and are very blessed to have much of our family in the area.  We have four married children, and ten grandchildren.  When not at school, I enjoy woodworking and home repair, (with the exception of plumbing), and still tackle a lot of my own vehicle maintenance. 

My favorite Bible passage is Isaiah 40:31; “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
