Hi, I’m Dave Runge, seventh grade homeroom teacher and upper grades Social Studies at CLS. It has been a blessing to see the many changes God has brought to Central since the summer of 2000, when my family moved here from southwest Missouri.
My wife, Jody, and I both grew up in Iowa, and are very blessed to have much of our family in the area. We have four married children, and ten grandchildren. At this time, three of our grandsons are Cougars! When not at school, I enjoy woodworking and home repair, (with the exception of plumbing), and still tackle a lot of my own vehicle maintenance.
My favorite Bible passage is Isaiah 40:31; “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
