Hi! I am Susan Voss, resource room teacher at Central Lutheran. I am a proud alumnus of our school and have spent most of my professional career teaching here. I graduated from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids and received my Lutheran Teacher’s Diploma from Concordia, Seward.
I live with my husband Dan in Atkins. We have three grown sons, Daniel, and his wife Kimberly in Minnesota, Brian, and his wife Nicole, and Matthew. All three of my sons graduated from Central. I play organ and direct the adult choir at St. Stephens in Atkins. I love to bake, make music, take walks, and spend time with my family.
Psalm 46:10 has become my favorite Bible verse–”Be still and know that I am God.” It reminds me that God is in control and I don’t need to worry.
